MediMitra — ask the medical record a question, get a cited answer

AI document analysis built for Healaxy's platform: records, labs, and imaging reports become something clinicians can query — with every answer traceable to its source.

01The problem

Clinical information arrives as documents: discharge summaries, lab reports, imaging read-outs, referral letters — scanned, faxed, uploaded. The facts a clinician needs exist somewhere in that pile, and finding one number can mean paging through years of PDFs. Generic chat-with-your-documents tools fail here for one reason: in medicine, an answer without a source is a liability, not a convenience.

02What we built

03How it's built

The design principle is citation-first retrieval: the system may only answer from what it can point to. That single constraint drives the architecture — and it's the same evidence-linked pattern that anchors our own Medellis Scribe, applied to a client's ecosystem.

In clinical software the right unit of output isn't an answer — it's an answer plus the receipt.

04Where it stands

Live inside Healaxy's ecosystem at healaxyscribe.healaxy.com. It's the second act of the Healaxy engagement: first unify the operational platform, then make its documents intelligent.

Client engagement, shared with the client's permission. Deeper specifics available under NDA.
